Eventful GOOD Day

Today was Sam's last day at Little Lambs Christian Pre School. Very sad but makes life easier. The picture is of his favourite teacher Mrs. M. Today we saw the surgeon (for 3 min) He says Audrey looks great and is healing well. There is a "crease" but there doesn't seem to be air moving through it so that's a good sign. Off came the restraints and a sippy cup (no valve) was served! She will have to learn how to use those muscles still, so she may not be a strong "sucker" yet. A huge relief! We will have at least one doctor or therapist appointment per month for the next year... Most just check ups and hearing tests, speech therapy... We're feeling pretty good today. Except Sam. Sam's been really sick since Friday night. REALLY sick, fever, horrible cough, lost his cookies a few times. He still isn't really eating. Poor little guy, he's in good spirits with drugs!
